Our division includes a broad and diverse set of operational units whose team members work daily to support the mission of UC Santa Cruz. Units in FOA foster a diverse, safe, sustainable, innovative and customer-centered environment through exceptional service. We developed this site to provide information and links to serve students, faculty, staff and the broader community.

  • Notice of open comment period: policy on International Travel
    The purpose of this proposed new policy is to implement practices designed to reduce personal and institutional risk while furthering the university’s mission.

    We strongly advise all travelers to carefully consider their individual risks associated with leaving the United States.
  • Notice of new policy: Interim Major Events
    The Division of Finance, Operations, and Administration has launched a new Interim Major Events policy—effective for all events on or after September 1, 2025—that expands and replaces the previous student-focused policy to better coordinate large campus gatherings through a centralized planning website, event calendar, and updated approval process.
