Our division includes a broad and diverse set of operational units whose team members work daily to support the mission of UC Santa Cruz. Units in FOA foster a diverse, safe, sustainable, innovative and customer-centered environment through exceptional service. We developed this site to provide information and links to serve students, faculty, staff and the broader community.   

Communications

  • We strongly advise all travelers to carefully consider their individual risks associated with leaving the United States.
  • The Division of Finance, Operations, and Administration has launched a new Interim Major Events policy—effective for all events on or after September 1, 2025—that expands and replaces the previous student-focused policy to better coordinate large campus gatherings through a centralized planning website, event calendar, and updated approval process.
  • A new Interim Major Events policy is being implemented this summer, which will apply more broadly to all events that are larger than 250 attendees, advertised to non-affiliates, requires campus-wide coordination, and several other factors.
